Awesome. Not Awesome.
I stole this idea from Angella who stole if from someone else. Go visit Angella and read her post. Her kids are the third, fourth, and fifth cutest kids I’ve ever seen! (Mine are first and second, of course.)
I’m doing it backwards though, and starting with the not awesome.
Not awesome: Pretty much every single customer was suffering from PMS today. Even the men. My word everyone was grumpy.
Awesome: My coworker’s grandson came in for a while and brightened our day. He’s 10 months old and totally adorable.
Not awesome: The kids and I dropped the van off with Noah at work and then went to take the bus home. We took the wrong one and our 15 minute ride turned into an hour and a half. AN HOUR AND A HALF! With TWO CHILDREN! IN A CONFINED SPACE! ‘Nuf said.
Awesome: I got to spend some quality time with the girls. Very quality.
Not awesome: We finally got home at 7:30, right before bed time. I got (literally) half an hour of home time with the girls today.
Awesome: I got to just sit and chill after our bus adventure because Liliana went to bed right away and Kaylie was playing outside being the minority. All the other kids are either Asian or Eastern (is that the right word? for people from India? I have no idea.) I’m glad it gives her some insight into other cultures, but I hope that she doesn’t feel left out! But then, she’s got the best tan EVER, so I think she fit in alright.
Not awesome: I have to go to bed after only seeing Noah for an hour today.
Awesome: He brought home some sleeping pills. I get to SLEEP tonight!
