babies don’t keep

I’ve got bags to unpack
forms to fill out
photos to edit and upload
posts to write
too-small baby clothes to put away and send away
birth announcements to finally send out
thank you cards to write (from months ago)
but instead I will be hanging out with these three
because they’re not this little for very long
and my to-do list will always be there
