Both kids are in bed . . . *lets out refreshing breath*
You know that sound a puddle on the highway makes when you go through it at 100km/h? I heard that sound today, but it was not water - it was blood. Apparently there was very recently a dead animal there (I’m hoping it was an animal anyway) and it left a humungo huge puddle of blood in the middle of my lane of the highway, but it was nowhere to be seen. It was one of the grossest things ever. I did little “gross shivers” every couple minutes for the next half hour. When we drove back about 6 hours later, there was a huge red blotchy spot with tire tracks going through it where the puddle had been. Gross gross gross. Remind me to go to the car wash tomorrow.
On a happier note, we met Maya today! She is even more gorgeous in real life and it was great to visit with my family for a couple hours. 4 hours of travelling for 4 hours of visiting - it was totally worth it!
They’re such goofs (this picture made me laugh out loud)
Yucky note: We got so many rad pics taken today and in all of them I look HUGE. UGH! To my pregnancy weight - get off, Get Off, GET OFF!!!
