OMSH Un-coloring Contest Loot

Remember OMSH’s Coloring Un-contest that Kaylie and Liliana entered and how Liliana won her category?

OMSH Un-coloring Contest Loot

Liliana’s prize came this week, and Kaylie had a lot of fun with it. We’re all about the sharing in this house.

Since Liliana’s been sick, she’s been quite uncooperative.

She’ll only do things that she wants to do.

But we forced encouraged her to do some footprints anyway.

She didn’t find it too bad, until we put her in a bath later and added soap. To Liliana, baths are fun, soap is torture.

CMHS Tote Bag Swap

I also received my tote bag from the CMHS Tote Bag Swap.

I decided to use it as a diaper bag. It holds all the diapers and extra clothes you need when your baby’s got the runs.

Spread the Love

OMSH has a contest going. You have to write about one, two, three, four, or more of your favourite bloggers. I immediately thought of two. Theirs were the first blogs that I started reading, and they are the two I look forward to reading the most. They are two of my most faithful commenters. They are my sister-in-law Teresa, and my cousin Chelsey.

me ‘n’ my bro

Okay, so that’s not me and Teresa, but it’s her husband (my brother) and daughter.

I’d only met Teresa once (maybe twice?) before she married my brother. I could tell, by the change in my brother, that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. I got to know her better on MSN, because really, there’s no cheaper way to talk – and it’s not awkward when the line goes dead for a couple seconds or minutes while one restrains a toddler/young child.

The more I’ve gotten to know about Teresa, the more I like her. She’s become my close friend, and I’m so happy that she’s a part of our family. She’s also (you know, with a bit of my brother’s help) adding to our family in April (or late March?) with my newest niece or nephew. Check her out!

me, chelsey, babies

Okay, so be kind because we just had our babies three and four weeks ago and this is the only picture that I can find of the two of us.

I’ve known Chelsey all her life. Being cousins, there were times we got along, and there were times we didn’t. Our moms are sisters, and are quite close. About a year and a half ago, Noah and I went to tell my parents the exciting news that we were expecting a baby. After saying “You’re married this time!”, my mom said, “Oh that’s great, Uncle Leroy just called and said that Chelsey is pregnant too!” My mom called him back and I found out that we were due just a day apart.

Chelsey and I got to know each other better throughout our pregnancies and now we have baby girls that are only six days apart. I love watching Maya and Liliana grow, and it’s fun to watch what Maya’s up to on Chelsey’s blog. Check her out too!

Do you want to spread the love? You don’t have much time. Go to OMSH’s blog, read the rules, and enter! Even if you don’t enter the contest, wouldn’t it be fun to write about a couple bloggers and why you like/read/appreciate their blogs?

Do it. Do it now.

Spread the love.
