drifting away

This week. It has included:
- a stolen (and recovered) vehicle
- a stolen (and not recovered) key to said vehicle
- a baby who cut his second tooth (the hard way) (with a lot of crying)
- a 4-year-old signed up for (pre)school
- school supplies for a 10-year-old bought, labeled, and put in a backpack
- fall activities signed up for
- a sold vehicle (not the same one that was stolen)
- a lot of 24 (Season 5) watched
and many cherries eaten.
I keep finding that nearly a week has passed since my last post and I’m not sure that this space will survive Preston’s infancy. Who knew babies were so time-consuming? (Not that I mind.) I think weekly about blowing up this space, but I know I’d regret it, so instead it will sit here. Neglected. Until I can form coherent thoughts and write grammatically correct sentences (which, according to Noah, is going to be a while).

Babies are hard on blogs… I should know. ;)
It’s still fun and interesting to read what you write, even if it’s just once a week (or less).
I feel the same way as Sonja. Only, you know, more likely to blog. ;-)
I really like that first photo, how it’s *almost* but not quite symmetrical.
It’s been a busy week for you! And also, we were totally just talking about your theft and recovery. Some people suck – they have soft – stolen chapstick lips, but still…they suck!
Busy week, but you got a lot done so yay!
I totally know what you mean about a neglected blog, I think it is a 3rd baby thing, mine was fine until after Jeriah was born. At first it bugged me that I didn’t have time to update it, but I soon decided to not let it bother me, I’ll post when I have time and that will have to do, I am doing it for me, not for everyone else.
Jen, don’t give up on your blog! If I am any indication of how many people out there read it and never comment (sorry), then there are lots of us that look forward to your words whenever it is that you write them! But I also agree with Kristin, you should do this for you, and not for everyone else.
Sorry to hear about the stolen vehicle. That does suck. Our house got robbed in June and it’s an awful, terrible feeling. Glad you at least got the van back!
Blog when you can, if you feel like it. I’ve let mine sit for months at a time. Rare posts are better than no posts, or at least that’s what I think. Besides, it an easy way to keep folks updated…if only occasionally. :)
I love reading your blogs as well! Also being a mom of 3 I can relate to the busy life you lead:) As they grow you only find more and more to write about..but I too need to sign up for a few english courses as my grammar has also gone down the toilet..lol I hope you have a great September and I am also super excited for school to start:)
Write when you can – we’ll all be here. :)
