‘Tis the season for meeting blog friends! Yesterday I got to meet Laurie and her family, and today I got to meet Jen and her adorable daughter Abby! We went to the science centre and had a blast.

Both Noah and Jordan (Jen’s husband) thought it was weird for us to meet someone we only knew on the internet, but to me, it’s not so weird. When you read someone’s blog for long enough, you kind of forget that you’ve never met them in person. Jen and I found out that we have a lot in common, including both having the best name ever invented.

We and our brown-eyed girls spent two hours exploring all the exhibits the science centre had to offer. When we first got there, Kaylie was gushing about how thankful she was that I took her to a place like that. She totally loved it. I think we’ll have to return, or maybe see an IMAX movie.

Kaylie and Abby totally enjoyed all the things that they got to touch. There weren’t many “don’t touch” things around, which is pretty much kid paradise.

We watched a short “science show” and Kaylie got to be involved in the demonstration, much to her delight.

We visited the bubble display twice. Abby is pulling the rope that makes a huge bubble all around them. Seriously, so cool.

There was a park outside that Kaylie had been begging to go to when we pulled up, so we let the girls play before we had to go.

When Kaylie and I arrived back home, Liliana was wearing her signature baby back pack. She’s been carting that thing around for about two days now. It’s totally adorable.

She wasn’t too into the idea of me taking a picture of her scrape she got at church yesterday. This picture pretty much makes me laugh out loud every time.
