No Boys Allowed
… except a little one.
My friend Debbie invited the kids and I for dinner tonight (her husband is out of town and mine was working), along with my friend Ann and her daughter. It was a wonderful time of stuffing our faces with pizza and wings visiting while the kids screamed played nicely in the basement.
Little G came up and wanted to dress just like the girls. Debbie was a bit embarrassed at first, but I told her not to worry about it. My mom always made me play Barbies with my little brother when we were little and he turned out quite straight, is married to a woman, and is expecting his second child. (Hi Nick!)

He was such a sweet little pixie.

His sister was not so sure.

The kids had so much fun together. In the picture below, Kaylie kind of reminded me of Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective when he dresses like the crazy ballerina.
The over-sized pink socks totally make the outfit.

Hey kids, smile nice for me, mmkay?

“Hey mom! Take a picture of me!!”

Liliana loved all the attention she received from the 5 other children and the two ladies whose daughters are no longer babies. She was sad to go home.
Luckily, Lili gets to spend Thursday and Friday with this beautiful lady. She is quite looking forward to it.
And so is Liliana.

I absolutely love spending time with my girl friends. It’s nice to know that other women are as crazy as I am.
Noah and I are kind of hermits. We like hanging out just the two of us. I forget how much I love hanging out with other ladies until I do it.
I love my friends. They are perfect for me. They’re the kind of friends that will hang out with me with five minutes notice, but will not get mad if we do not talk for a month. (Because when you have kids, months just disappear.)
The other two times that I have moved away from this town I grew up in, I could not wait to leave. I just wanted to get out of here.
This time is different. I am excited for Noah and me to start this new chapter of our lives, but I am going to miss the dear friends that I have made here.
They are irreplaceable.

Yah, moving away from friends is hard. No fun.
On a happy note, I went shopping at Old Navy for your girls! We sold the Chariot, so as a thankyou to you for giving it to us, I got your girls some cute clothes :)
