One in ten fish is afraid of water
We’ve been doing a little partying over here. It was Maya’s birthday on the 1st of May, and we celebrated today.
I’ll leave it to Chelsey to fill you in on the rest of the details, but it was a great day - even the weather cooperated! Isn’t Maya sweet?
The trip to PG was uneventful. Just the way I like a trip to be.
The girls were good while they were like this
and this,
but I liked it the best when they were like this
and this.
Before we left my Opa’s place yesterday, we celebrated his 77th birthday.
We like to be creative in our candle/candle holder choices.
Liliana got to play in a field of feathers,
and I got to attempt to beat my Opa in a game of Scrabble.
I lost, but not by much.
The girls have gotten along quite well thus far. Not like I was worried, their age gap makes it pretty easy for them to get along. A huge blessing.
Maya got a swing set for her birthday, and Kaylie was quite eager to help Jon build it.
Liliana got a kick out of playing with toys that were not hers.
I love this one. And then I noticed that there is chocolate cake in her teeth. She’s gorgeous even with chocolate cake in her teeth.
And this one is gorgeous even with snot crusties on her nose.
And finally, to make this broken post even more broken, have you ever seen this book? It makes people who hate to read laugh while reading it. (Right, Curt?) It’s that good. One lie? The title of this post. Each “lie” is illustrated to increase humor.
Yes Noah, I’m a nerd. I like to laugh while I’m reading.
Speaking of Noah, I didn’t think I’d miss him this much already. But I do. I missed him as soon as we left town.
Apparently I’m turning into an old softie.
Tomorrow? Vancouver or bust.

Great photos!!
Travel safe! You’ll be with Noah in no time :)
